Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers about vehicle access, auction sourcing, and buyer representation.
What is KeyAura™?
KeyAura™ is an independent vehicle access and buyer-representation service operated by Gregory Jones in Connecticut. We help buyers identify, evaluate, and acquire vehicles offered by third-party auctions through a disciplined, flat-fee process.
Are you a dealership?
No. KeyAura™ is not a dealership. We do not sell vehicles, hold inventory, or take ownership of vehicles. All vehicles are sold AS-IS by third-party auctions.
Do you sell cars?
No. KeyAura™ does not sell vehicles. Buyers purchase vehicles directly from the auction or seller.
What kind of vehicles do you work with?
We focus on vehicles offered through third-party auctions, including older and higher-mileage vehicles where value depends heavily on condition, demand, and bidding behavior.
Are vehicles inspected?
Auction vehicles are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Some auctions provide limited condition reports, announcements, or disclosures, but inspections are not guaranteed.
Do you guarantee vehicle condition?
No. We do not guarantee condition, price, reliability, or suitability. Condition risk remains entirely with the buyer.
How does the process start?
The process begins with the Buyer Intake form. This allows us to understand your budget, vehicle preferences, timeline, and risk tolerance before any services are provided.
What is buyer representation?
Buyer representation means we act on your behalf—only with your written authorization—to evaluate vehicles, provide bid guidance, and place bids within your approved maximums.
Do you bid without my approval?
No. We only bid when you have signed the Buyer Representation Agreement and provided a written maximum bid for a specific vehicle.
What if the bidding goes above my limit?
We do not exceed your approved maximum bid. If bidding goes beyond your limit, we walk away.
How do you charge for your services?
KeyAura™ operates on a flat-fee model. Fees are for services provided, not for vehicles, and are disclosed upfront.
Do you earn commissions or markups?
No. We do not earn commissions, markups, or percentages of vehicle price. This keeps incentives aligned with disciplined bidding.
Are fees refundable?
Fees are non-refundable once services begin, regardless of auction outcomes.
What costs are not included?
Auction fees, buyer premiums, taxes, title, registration, transport, repairs, and any post-purchase costs are paid directly by the buyer and are not included in KeyAura™ fees.
What if I don’t win a vehicle?
Not winning is a valid outcome. We prioritize discipline over forcing a purchase. If no vehicle meets your criteria within your approved bid limits, we move to the next opportunity.
Can you guarantee I’ll get a car under $5,000?
No. While some vehicles may sell under $5,000 depending on condition and demand, there are no guarantees. Pricing outcomes depend on auction dynamics beyond our control.
Are you responsible if something goes wrong after purchase?
No. Once purchased, responsibility for the vehicle rests entirely with the buyer. Vehicles are sold AS-IS by third parties.
Where do you operate?
KeyAura™ operates from Connecticut and focuses on auctions and buyers within that scope. Any expansion is handled cautiously and only when operationally viable.
Are you affiliated with any auction?
No. KeyAura™ is not affiliated with any auction, seller, or vehicle provider.
Ready to Get Started?
